BigReel Bassmasters is a bass fishing club intended to meet the dual goals of providing an atmosphere of bass fishing competition while expanding the knowledge of those who express a desire to know more about the sport.
The membership includes some of the most talented anglers in the South Florida area while also including those whose experience may be more limited.
In BigReel, it is as important to get its members together to meet to a shared love of bass fishing as it is to win the monthly tournament for bragging rights.
This attitude has allowed the club to bring together the serious tournament angler and the more casual fishermen.
2-day trip, Nov07, Walk-in-Water
Since this is not a money club, where the focus can sometimes shift away from the shared experience of fishing to a limited focus of winning a pot, the membership is more interested in constantly raising the level of competition among friends.
To insure such an atmosphere, all club tournaments are draw tournaments and there is a limit as to how often members can fish together as a team in a year.
